A Couple's Bumpy Journey

Sorry I should say, honey

For not thoroughly understanding

Our togetherness seems vague

Our tie is loose

It cannot release me from my me-ness

Baby, you've done your best

You've given your life rest

You've lost pieces of your happiness 

Freedom has become something you chase

Even in our 5th years of living  

I still need reminders to respect us

To let go off my me-ness

Again, sorry for the pain 

The road we've been through, is bumpy

And will always be like this

We can't make it smooth

But we can walk, run, jump, on it holding hands

The thrills might sometimes feel good

At other times feel exhausting 

Laughters, smiles, cries, and yells

Have coloured our journey

Will always go like this

But together, we keep it going

Till we stop breathing 

Till the end of our time...
