Soft, Disrespected

All I have given

Care, love, sympathy

Options, choices, freedom

Appraisal, motivation, courage 

A few games were not left

Some riddles came out as well

All to keep you in tact 

Experience life

And broaden your horizons 

Nevertheless, what I got in return was bad

You only thought of yourself 

The now you, not the future you

What I did was to help you survive

Life is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand

You might not be able to foresee 

What is coming is still a mystery

It has nothing to do with today

As you think, your future doesn't start today

No wonder only discouragement you feel

And disrespect you show

No matter how soft I act...

Only disrespect I get...
